Comment reviews: Despite the good customer reviews for this product, I was still shocked at the premium sound quality they deliver. The earbuds are comfortable and simply due to their design have quite a bit of intrinsic noise canceling. Definitely worth the money.

Comment reviews: These earphones are pretty rugged, sound great (especially for bass heads) and do a decent job of canceling noise. Only problem, but I think its just the style of earbuds, my ears sweat like crazy with these things. Small price to pay for comfort and sound at less than 30 bucks.

Comment reviews: Got these to replace the earbuds that came w/ my Creative Zen Nano Plus. I had noticed that the low end was just not there. It was especially evident on "Pirates: Curse of the Black Pearl" soundtrack, which uses heavy percussion throughout.
No problem now! Listen to "He's a Pirate" from the above soundtrack & you can FEEL the low end! Also, these are a good deal louder that the stock earbuds, so I save battery life as I can listen at lower volumes.
Some have complained that the low end is TOO much. I did find this to be true w/ the medium size silicone fitting (S, M & L sizes included) as the medium size sealed my ears SO well that all I heard was low end. I switched out for the small size & the low end balanced out nicely. A minor tweak of the EQ on the player & I was in business.
I can't recommend these earbuds enough! Extremely comfortable...I use them at work during most of an 8 hour day w/o any discomfort. $30 for a high quality set of earbuds & worth every single penny!

Comment reviews: The V-MODA Earbuds are my 5th pair of portable headphones. Every pair I've owned previously, have been distinctly lacking in bass performance, all of them tending to sound a bit shrill and "tinny". Not true, of the V-MODA's.
However... some people might find the sound too heavy, too much low-end sound. I find the sound design refreshing, after too many high-end, shrill earbuds. But...that's because my MP3 player (iPod Nano), has plenty of options for tailoring the sound. Mine had to be substantially readjusted for these earbuds, but the end result is very pleasing...better than any previous set I've owned.
I gave them 4 stars, because I think that in the world of MP3 and earbud, on-the-go headphones, we're a long way from 5 star sound. But that's the opinion of a choosy audio nut.
